Kairos Vision 2012

We are a body of believers, pursuing our roles as ambassadors of God’s Truth and Beauty, proclaimers of His reign and coming Kingdom, and stewards of the gifts He has entrusted to us in order to bring reconciliation to our local communities (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

We, as artists, are aware of our responsibility as influencers of culture and community, and commit to enflesh Truth and to bring life through the arts. We are a team, a unit moving together, creating with a contagious joy, passion, and love that spark creativity and that inspires others to dream of what God can do through us, His instruments of peace. We are each aware of our responsibility within this group to each pursue our roles, our gifts, and to learn how to better reflect God’s face, His Truth, and His Beauty to our community.

We commit to expose the darkness with light through the arts.

We commit to awakening souls, bringing life to dry bones, and proclaiming God’s hope and life (Ephesians 4:20-24).

We commit to pursue and protect our relationship with the Lord, to know Him and to trust His will for our lives (Philippians 3:7-11).

We commit to know the Word and to tell of Truth; to have a Kingdom focus in all that we do and to share our gifts wisely and creatively (1Timothy 4:6-16).

We commit to clothe ourselves in Him every day, and to encourage one another to do the same—to be clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, and to bear with one another, forgiving each other. We commit to put on love Himself, to sew our “clothes” with threads of this Love, and to pursue unity with one another for the glory of God (Colossians 3:12-17).
